“As you may be aware, I’ve published two books detailing the making of the first two Lamb of God albums featuring the drum tablature for each song” writes Chris.
“These books have allowed students and teachers alike an inside view of how things went down and exactly what I am playing.
I’ve seen a million tab books mass-produced by big companies that have glaring mistakes. I insisted on transcribing each song myself (with the help of master technician Travis Orbin) in order to avoid any mistakes or confusion in the tabs themselves.
The tabs included in those books are EXACTLY what I played.
Ever since the release of the first book, I’ve been asked repeatedly when the later tab books would be available.
While I have all four of the story books in progress, I recently met a few drum students who inspired me to release the stand alone tabs to the later records.
In the downtime this year, I’ve taken the time to transcribe and verify every note of every song on each of the records, even the bonus tracks. I just finished compiling the tabs into .pdf format and have them available for immediate download in the shop.
